Life is Good!

Good morning all! At least the clock says it is morning. It’s 3:30 am. Let me explain why I am up so early. First, we went to bed around 8:45. Second, like a lot of older people, my hubby had to go to the restroom around 2:00 am. Now normally I wouldn’t have woken up because of this but our new puppy, Lucy, was asleep on our bed. When he got up, she didn’t like it and decided to bark and whine until he came back to bed. Then, of course, I had to go just like he did. She didn’t bark or whine while I was out of bed. I came back to bed and she was curled up in my spot. Really? I moved her over and laid down but couldn’t go back to sleep. So now I am on my second cup of coffee and writing this blog.

I want to share something that makes me so proud (maybe a little bragging). My daughter, Tiffany, is absolutely beautiful. She is a Nurse Practitioner. Like that’s not enough to make my heart swell with pride, she is going for her doctorate. She told me yesterday that her gpa is 3.8 right now! WOW! And all she has left is her dissertation and is shooting for a 4.0! Now, she is doing this while being a wife, mother of 2 children under 3, stepmother of 2 teenagers, working full time, and being active in her community. Isn’t she just beautiful? I am so proud of you Tiffany!

So, I am supposed to get her youngest today, Ezra. We are going to wean mommy from breastfeeding! And he is supposed to stay with us for 3 nights. After I went to bed, I evidently got a text asking if I could meet daddy on Friday for lunch. Of course, I can. She said that daddy wasn’t ready to be away from Ezra for three nights. I’m not so sure that it is just daddy! Lol I am supper excited about spending some time with our baby.

I am super happy about what we accomplished yesterday. My friends, Bernice and Mikka, came over and helped me get the quilting done on the new baby’s quilt. All I have left is the binding and then I will take a picture and show you. I WAS PRODUCTIVE YESTERDAY!!!!!!!
